On an Inequality Related to the Legendre Totient Function

چکیده
Let ∆(x, n) = φ(x, n)−xφ(n)/n, where φ(x, n) is the Legendre totient function and φ(n) is the Euler totient function. An inequality for ∆(x, n) is known. In this paper we give a unitary analogue of this inequality, and more generally we give this inequality in the setting of regular convolutions.

A more accurate half-discrete Hardy-Hilbert-type inequality with the best possible constant factor related to the extended Riemann-Zeta function
By the method of weight coefficients, techniques of real analysis and Hermite-Hadamard's inequality, a half-discrete Hardy-Hilbert-type inequality related to the kernel of the hyperbolic cosecant function with the best possible constant factor expressed in terms of the extended Riemann-zeta function is proved. The more accurate equivalent forms, the operator expressions with the norm, the rever...
متن کاملOn generalized Hermite-Hadamard inequality for generalized convex function
In this paper, a new inequality for generalized convex functions which is related to the left side of generalized Hermite-Hadamard type inequality is obtained. Some applications for some generalized special means are also given.
متن کاملAn inequality related to $eta$-convex functions (II)
Using the notion of eta-convex functions as generalization of convex functions, we estimate the difference between the middle and right terms in Hermite-Hadamard-Fejer inequality for differentiable mappings. Also as an application we give an error estimate for midpoint formula.

The problem of poverty can not be considered without paying care to the topic of income distribution. In fact, the concept of poverty refers to the lowest class in the distribution of income, and inequality in the income distribution is related to all stages of society. Based on the income distributions that are unfairly priced, many indices have been developed to measure the size of inequality...
متن کاملOn Arithmetic Functions Related to Iterates of the Schemmel Totient Functions
We begin by introducing an interesting class of functions, known as the Schemmel totient functions, that generalizes the Euler totient function. For each Schemmel totient function Lm, we define two new functions, denoted Rm and Hm, that arise from iterating Lm. Roughly speaking, Rm counts the number of iterations of Lm needed to reach either 0 or 1, and Hm takes the value (either 0 or 1) that t...
